基地所在位置原為農業型聚落，經時代變遷移入局部工業活動而產生許多小型工廠，而近年完工的高速鐵路穿越後，使其交織著越來越明顯的新與舊、傳統與科技、安靜與速度等對比性特質，這些特質塑造了獨特的地域性格。
另外，因應南台灣日照充足但夏季炎熱的特性，試著運用屋簷、門窗系統等建築元素，透過垂直水平的空間配置手法塑造良好的遮陽及通風環境。

Folding doors/folding doors lead the fashion trend, overturning the traditional design concept of aluminum doors and windows, allowing light and movement to pass freely, opening up an infinite view of the beautiful scenery in front of the windows, providing 100% open space and making the interior more spacious.
